The Lecht

The Lecht is probably Scotland's smallest resort and is situated in the Grampian mountains in the North East of the country. It has a good snow record and indeed in certain cases the difficulty can be getting there, as the road links aren't the best. The area is not as extensive as at most of the other resorts but the Lecht is popular for it's beginners facilities and friendly welcome.

New for this season are some freestyle accessories in the form of a permanent halfpipe and fun park. In the park there are tabletops, gap jumps, log slides and hits. These show the Lecht's commitment to boarders and forward looking attitude. The Lecht also has fairly extensive snowmaking facilities for the beginners area and an all year round dry slope. The tow system is modern and uses Poma button tows mainly and the ticket prices are good value.
